Welcome to the Windsor family web site!


My name is Brian and I have lived in Hampshire all my life. I was born in the Hiltingbury area of Chandlers Ford, near Eastleigh, and I went to Merdon Avenue Junior school and then on to North End Secondary school in Eastleigh.

Just after I left North End school, it transferred to a brand new building in Chandlers Ford and became known as Thornden (an anagram of North End, in case you didn't know!!) and the old school building became the Hampshire Fire headquarters.

On leaving school I joined the GPO, which later became British Telecom and then BT. I am still with BT after more than 35 years, and I enjoy every day of my work.

My main hobby is Genealogy but I also enjoy DIY, computing and spending time with my family and grandchildren.

I am presently living in Dibden Purlieu near Hythe on the western edge of Southampton. We live only a few hundred yards from the wonderful New Forest, approx 3 miles from Beaulieu, the home of the National Motor Museum. This is a wonderful part of the country to live in, and the New Forest is well worth a visit if you have never been here.
